Brigadier General James Denton is Major General Sam Worden's assistant and second in command, Denton also helped hand pick the Dozen and as well as picked Major John Reisman for the mission to attack Rennes Brittany Chateau in France, however Denton hardly approves of Reisman and they're for the two have over different opinions such as he disagrees to Reisman that he is perhaps a threat to the mission and like one occasion Reisman was in deep trouble and told him why that was why Colonel Everett Dasher Breed and his men stormed his compound to take him into custody, which he was very cross despite at the graduation ball the Dozen where at dancing with whore females it became a drunken party that many civilians took an active part to which Reisman broke military regulations and wanted to have him removed from the mission, almost before Major Max Armbruster suggested a war game for the Dozen to do capture Breed and his men, also Denton is present at the hospital and seen talking with the only convict survivor, Wladislaw that he will be needed someday on the filed when his leg gets better, Denton is portrayed by Robert Webber on the film,
